Culture is everything

Money and luck don't build world-changing companies; culture does. At OLIX, our culture is the engine behind the infrastructure for Frontier AI. We are building a space where the best people in the world can do the most important work of their lives.


We aren't for everyone

We are building a high-intensity filter designed for the obsessed. We are solving problems that many smart people believed were impossible to solve. This requires a level of focus that is rare but for the right person, it’s the most energising environment on earth.


OLIX isn’t a typical 9-to-6

Life at OLIX is high-velocity and high-stakes. We don’t believe in 'grinding' for the sake of it, but we do believe in total dedication to the mission. This isn’t work you leave at the door; it’s work that matters enough to command a space in your life. You’ll be making a tangible impact alongside people just as excited as you are. The energy in the office is a boost, not a drain.


Speed is a competitive advantage

In the most competitive market on earth, the only way to win is to move faster but without alignment, speed is just expensive chaos. Vector Alignment: We ensure every team member knows the one thing that matters most right now and how it impacts the organisation. When the whole team pulls in the same direction, your individual effort is multiplied. No Red Tape: You are empowered to make decisions and move. Because we are aligned, you’ll never find yourself working hard on something that doesn't matter.


Raising your performance raises our performance

We take the "High-Performance Sports Team" analogy seriously. Elite athletes don’t just train; they prioritise sleep, nutrition, and mental clarity because that’s how they win. The Athlete’s Mindset: We expect high output, but we respect the need to recharge. We don't want "busy-work"; we want "best-work." We don't win by burning out; we win by showing up at our best.


Carry the flag

Individual blockers are team blockers–fix them. Individual wins are team wins–celebrate them. We operate as a single unit. There are no "not my job" problems here. We offer benchmark-leading compensation and meaningful equity because when the mission succeeds, you should own the result. If you see a hole in the defense, you plug it; if a teammate is blocked, you help clear the path.


Proximity is a competitive advantage

Remote work has a "coordination tax" that we refuse to pay. Every Slack message is a decision delayed; every video call loses the nuance of a face-to-face spark. Everyone lives within 45 minutes of the office. To make this a reality, we pay an additional £2,000 per month to those living within 20 minutes (85% of us do). We want your commute to be a breeze so your energy stays focused on the mission and your life outside of it.


We will pay you to leave

Commitment is a two-way street. At the three-month mark, we put our cards on the table. If you’ve decided the OLIX mission doesn't align with your personal path, we’ll pay you 18 weeks of salary to leave and provide the financial cushion for you to find your next thing. We do this because of the people who stay. When you look at the person sitting next to you, you need to know they aren't here because they’re "stuck" or just collecting a check. You know, like you, they chose to be here. That certainty is the bedrock of our culture.
